Everything is FREE!!!

Do you live in the Tulsa area? My new church start, The Refuge, is having an everything is FREE garage sale this Saturday morning starting at 8 am. We are not advertising it to the public as free, because we don't want people to come in and take everything to resale, but if you are looking to Christmas shop or just pick up some awesome freebies, come on by! Besides, i would love to meet you!

Our Church is located on the Southeast corner of Apache and North Harvard in the former Colcord Community Church building. We will start at 8 am until everything is gone!

We have a LOT of stuff...
Household Items

And much much more! :)

This will also show you where our building is where I will be teaching budgeting, couponing and much more in a class format! :)

Hope to see you there!

All my love and blessings!

No Dining Out Challenge Week 1

How's everyone doing?? Please post a comment here or on Facebook and let me know what you have put into your account this week!

I am proud to say that after returning from Kansas City (AWESOME trip by the way!), we haven't eaten out once! Yay! I am determined to keep it going! Something I am doing to ease the transition...

Inviting friends over for dinner and games. For me, going out to dinner isn't because I hate to cook or even for convenience. For me, its all about socialization. Has anyone else noticed that's what people ALWAYS do when they get together? I am working on new things to do with friends so that my need is met. I don't do well with deprivation.

So $30 into my Disney account for not going out this week! How did you do??

Ebaying to Disney Week 3

This week was a slow week, my fault for being out of town on Saturday morning so I couldn't garage sale and replenish my inventory!

Total saved for Disney-175.02

I am REALLY going out Saturday morning to get some inventory, so hopefully will be getting that number back up!

Be blessed!

No Dining Out Challenge!

AS my loyal followers know, I use my Discover Card for everything, pay the balance every month and get FREEBIES! Another neat feature of Discover is the spend analyzer. As I was analyzing my spending, I saw some definite room for improvement. Last year alone, I spent $1687 ($85 so far in August alone) eating out!

So, like my friends at Couponing to Disney (, I am compelled to begin my own dining out challenge, starting this Monday (one mroe freebie weekend for those of you that care to join me, these are the rules....

1. Special Occasions are allowed (birthdays, mothers day, etc.). Quite frankly because I am not cooking on my birthday! :)

2. Awesome deals are also permissable! Let's say you just scored a BOGO coupon for your favorite restaurant. Being the money saving junkie that I am, I would never deprive you of getting a sweet deal.

3. We calculate what we save and put it into our Disney (or Paris, or new car, or remodeling) fund!

Who's in with me?
Be blessed and have a wonderful weekend!

Ebaying to Disney-Week 2

Just an update!

I invested $6 this week on shipping supplies.

My total sales are $166, for a profit $160!!!!

How exciting!

My best seller this week is a Purple People Eater toy, still in bidding but up to $41!!

I am planning on going out for more inventory tomorrow!

Some tips for those of you hitting the sales this weekend!

1. Dishes don't sell worth poop!
2. Ask yourself, is this going to be a total pain to ship?
3. Silver pieces sell extremely well!
4. Look for the unique!

Ebaying to Disney-1 week update

First let me start off by saying that this went WAY BETTER than I anticipated.

Every item I listed was listed free, so it was a seven day listing, at the end of seven days, after everything shipped and completed, I made a profit of....

At this rate, I can save for Disney and then also my Adventures by Disney trip to Europe!

The best sellers by far are the silver pieces. So, if you will be hitting the garage sales with me this weekend, that should be your primo target, also anything unusual that looks old!

Sound too easy? IT IS!

Please let me know if you are trying it so we can share our success!

Be blessed! :)
